Festive Cookie Pops Recipe

Hello DF-ers!

It's baking season for me and I came up with this deliciously creative idea. Christmas cookies on a stick!

These cookies are cake-like; super thick and soft to ensure the cookie doesn't crumble when you bite into it. I personally prefer thick cookies over thin, crunchy ones.

Get Baking

Head over to my YouTube for the video tutorial but here's the ingredients to my recipe. (Live after 16th Dec)

>> Makes ~20 cookies
1 Cup Plain Flour
1 Cup Self raising Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon Cornflour
2 eggs
1/2 Cup Soften butter
2/3 Cup Sugar (Use a little less depending on how much sugary decorations you want)
2 tablespoons orange syrup** (or any flavouring you like eg. vanilla extract, lemon juice, almond essences, chocolate essence OR a jam of your choice- strawberry, plum...)

Sticks and "Glue" (~500g dairy milk chocolate. I suggest eating chocolate not cooking)
Decorate as you wish.

** This recipe can be modified to please your taste buds.

I cannot believe it... This time last week I was fresh out of school from my last exam! One week has already passed and a lot has happened; particularly lots of packing and getting ready to move. 
I move this Friday- woop woop into out new house. It's all very exciting.

I need to get my video schedule all sorted so I can confidently produce content every week (and maybe even more than once!) I am thinking of uploading on Saturdays! My Monday schedule was working well but I just want to start fresh, especially since it'a Summer I can film more often.

I am hoping to get more dance videos on my channel next month.

Hey Everyone,
I was lucky enough to receive two items from rosewholesale.com to review.

The first item was the Korea Style Women's Chiffon Shirt With Colorful Polka Dot Print Splice Sleeveless Design in Apricot selling for AU$5.86

The material is very silky and "breezy" as I said in my video. It's well made but came with a few loose threads. Value for money? A HUGE yes! For being AU$5.86, I got what I was expecting. 

Value for money- Yes

Quality- Medium

Recommend- Yes

Now on to the second item which was the Elegant Sequin Embellished Elastic Waist High-low Hem Dresses For Women in Yellow selling for AU$8.44

Unfortunately there is no photo of me in the dress because....

This dress was very disappointing. It was the piece that I was looking forward to the most. The material is scratchy and not soft at all. It is very sheer and also very short (but this may be because I am quite tall).

The amount of sequins on the shoulders were less than what I was expecting, but there was no fraying and loose sequins which was nice.

Value for money- For being $8.44, I guess so.

Quality- Low

Recommend- No

Similar to photo on website- Not really (especially fabric wise)

Hey everyone,

So I have completed 3 out of 5 exams for my high school marks. I graduate on Friday 25th October. After I officially graduate, I haven't finished high school yet. I still have the WACE exams then I will be done! Yay :D 

My channel is so close to reaching 9000 subscribers! But my lack of videos has definitely stalled the numbers. Today I will film a short vlog just explaining my situation so that you all don't think that I am losing interest. If anything, my passion for YT is probably at a high but I just wish I didn't have exams to focus on. Well, soon it will be summer and I will able to upload two videos per week. Can't wait!

Lack of videos...

Hi everyone,

The past month has been the most stressful and demanding of the year and the "fun" has only just started with Semester 2 exams just 2 weeks away and WACE in about a month. I am really struggling to find a balance between making content every week and studying. 
I don't want to say that I am not going to be uploading videos at all. I really do not want that to happen! I just going to try to have at least one video every 2 weeks! I hope you all understand :)

Christmas in July

Throughout July I have been uploading winter themed videos to go with my series "Christmas in July". I haven't really been doing anything Christmas-y, just winter videos that have been requested plus some of my own ideas.

I originally intended to upload two videos a week so that viewers who aren't interested in the series can watch another that week, but for next two weeks I will go back to uploading one video a week (unless absolutely necessary to upload two).

I have worked particularly hard to upload top content and have been pleased with the finished results. I just hope you all like them!

Fresh Start

I have decided to make a blog. I am not sure why I have this urge nor I do think I can keep this updated because I already have lots of other social media forms. But even if I can't work on this now, at least I'll have it for the future.

Well for the next hour or so I am going to try and learn my way around this blog and hopefully do it up a little, just in case someone happens to make their way here.
